Took you long enough!

But I'm glad that you're here.
Although it's a little weird that you're about to see inside my mind,
I welcome you to randomness and INNOVATION.

"a-OK" Art

I have always found visual art to be a complex, only because I was never the type to see what others saw. So I'm a bit surprised at how well I've embraced this artist's vision. It's down-right brilliant!

Her name is Keetra Dean Dixon. I overheard Keetra's name recently, and after a little googling, I realized she's the artist who created the Anonymous Hugging Wall (which is basically a huge red bed-sheet created with arm-gloves in the center, so strangers could be hugged by another stranger -- a very mood elevating idea). Although I have never read an interview or spoken to her personally, there is no doubt that positive inspiration influences Keetra's art.

Meet Nicholas Kirkwood

It is told that the first person to create the "heel" of a shoe is a man. If this is true, Nicholas Kirkwood must have that shoe maker's heirloom. lol

Most woman couldn't fathom taking on a job such as creating shoes, but somehow we are so fascinated with the end results that we'll spend hundreds of dollars on Manolo Blahniks and survive off cracker and cheese for the rest of the week.

And ladies, may I say ... this rising star's shoes are fully capable of turning [such] a woman anorexic.

Introducing New Jersey's Own. Pledge.

I have always been a sucker for talent! So it's no surprise that when I came across eighteen-year-old Aaron Rushing (stage name "Pledge) I almost instantly fell in love. I must say, this Jersey boy is definitely someone we all should be looking out for in the near future. Recently, I was fortunate to get a glimpse of Pledge's musical abilities and I am told that "MVP" (a single from his debut album Best of Luck) will be the first leek. "MVP" has a rockin' melody that intwines smooth vocals and catchy lyrics. A song so cool that I just had to get permission to give you first listens.

What a coincidence!

I found this to be quite humorous! The popular singer's mom has the same scarf as I do. I too wrap it around the hip of my skinny jeans.

There isn't any. I'm not even that interesting, to be honest... but the internet has a mystical way of appointing one's curiosity. So this may be a good thing for both of us if we share the same range of mental acquisitiveness. If not, remember that there are other blogs on this website! ;-) "Anywhooo." Here, at random, you will experience the world through my point of view. You may not own a piece of Basquiat, or ever had a chance party with your favorite rock star... but neither have I. Yet I still manage to acquaint with other pleasures on this planet. Pleasures that I will share with you.
